Crowther Associates Architects have recently completed the refurbishment of Saxon Square, an existing open air shopping centre in Christchurch, Dorset, for the property investment and management arm of Deutsche Bank. Extensive work to the elevations and replacement of existing external paving materials and street furniture have provided an enhanced external environment to the centre with more light and open space providing an attractive offer for both shoppers and retailers. Additionally, existing redundant office space above the retail units has been converted to form a 68-bed Travelodge Hotel.
