This new 30,000 sqft Head Office building is the second phase of the Avtrade Global Headquarters development for which Crowther Associates Architects obtained a planning permission in 2013. This follows on from the completed 100,000 sqft distribution and logistics centre and enabling works which formed the first phase of this development.
This new building produces over 10% of the sites energy needs through an extensive photo voltaic array on the roof and intelligent high efficiency ventilation and lighting systems. Due to the developments rural location, the landscape design looked to enhance the surrounding natural features with extensive new tree planting, wild flower meadows and attenuation ponds.
The new offices were completed in 2017.
A second 80,000 sqft warehouse was added to the existing campus in 2019, with originally consented 30,000 sqft office building and staff house still to be developed on the site.
